Destruction of Desire – A story of consumption

This photo series explores the slow destruction of love and lust through the transformation of a pomegranate. What begins as an intact, body-like form is gradually exposed, saturated, and dismantled. Honey enters as an external presence, sweet, seductive, and invasive upon first touch, then overwhelming the fruit. As the structure breaks down, the pomegranate’s own juice emerges like tears, blurring the line between desire and harm. In the end, the body disappears entirely. What remains is only honey. Smooth, reflective, and indifferent. The series examines intimacy as a process of consumption. Sweetness survives, but the body does not.

As my hands sadly got too sticky from the honey and pomegranate juices, i didnt take more than this behind the scenes picture.
